Privacy Policy

Eldren Labs itself receives no personal information from Dhikr, and there is no Eldren Labs server for the app to talk to. From version 2.0.1 the app does include two outside services: Google AdMob, which shows ads, and RevenueCat, which handles the optional Supporter purchase. What they receive is set out in section 02. Everything else the app handles is listed below, with where it stays.

Your voice

• When you count by voice, Dhikr listens for the dhikr you are reciting using Apple's on-device speech recognition
• Audio is processed in the moment and discarded. It is never recorded to a file, never stored, and never transmitted, not to us and not to anyone else
• The microphone is used only while a counting session is running, and only if you grant permission. Declining it leaves every part of the app usable, counted by tapping

Your location (optional)

• Used while you are using the app, to calculate prayer times and the direction of the qibla
• Both calculations run on your device from your coordinates. Dhikr does not send your coordinates to us or to any third party
• Declining location means prayer times and the qibla are unavailable. Nothing else changes

Your dhikr and your sessions

• Your adhkar, counts, targets, and session history are stored on your device and mirrored to your own private iCloud (Apple CloudKit), so they follow you across your devices
• This is your iCloud, not our servers. We cannot access it, and we hold no copy of your practice

Your name and photo (optional)

• Stored on your device only
• Never uploaded anywhere, not even to your own iCloud

Sign in with Apple (optional)

• Signing in is optional. Dhikr works fully without an account and you can skip it
• If you do sign in, Apple provides an identifier that the app uses locally to associate your data with you. It is not sent to any Eldren Labs server
• You may use Apple's Hide My Email at any time

Notifications (if you enable them)

• Prayer time and dhikr reminders are local notifications, scheduled on your device by the app
• Dhikr contains no push notification service and registers no device token. We have no way to send you a message

Ads

• Dhikr shows banner ads on the Home, History, and Settings screens, and an occasional full-screen ad between dhikr sessions. Ads are never shown during a counting session
• Ads are non-personalised only. Dhikr never asks for Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission and does not access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA)
• Ad content is limited to General Audiences, with sensitive categories blocked
• Supporters see no ads, and the ad service is not started for them

Speech recognition, prayer time calculation, and the qibla bearing all run on your device using Apple's own frameworks, and your dhikr sync uses your own iCloud account. Beyond Apple, Dhikr works with two partners:

Ads: Google AdMob

• Google LLC (Google Ireland Limited for users in the EEA and UK)Serves and measures the ads in Dhikr, prevents ad fraud, and diagnoses problems. Google's software in the app may collect device and usage information for these purposes, such as your IP address (and an approximate location derived from it), the device identifier for vendor (IDFV) and app-instance identifiers, device model, operating system version, language, app version, ad interactions such as impressions and clicks, and crash and performance diagnostics.How Google uses data from partner appsGoogle Privacy Policy

Purchases: RevenueCat

• RevenueCat, Inc.Processes the optional Dhikr Supporter purchase (a monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase) that removes all ads. RevenueCat receives an anonymous, randomly generated app user ID (not your name, email, or Apple ID), your App Store purchase and transaction records, and basic device information: device model, operating system version, country or locale, app version, and IP address. We use it to validate purchases, unlock Supporter, and see aggregate revenue statistics. Payment itself is handled by Apple, and we never see your card details.RevenueCat Privacy Policy

We do not sell your personal data. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites as Apple defines tracking: Dhikr never requests App Tracking Transparency permission and never reads the advertising identifier. We do not show personalised ads, and we do not share your data with data brokers. There are no analytics SDKs in the app beyond what the two partners in section 02 need to do their jobs, and no Eldren Labs server receives your personal data.

Your dhikr data stays on your device and in your iCloud until you remove it. Deleting the app removes the on-device data. To clear everything the app stores, use Delete account and all data in the app (Settings). This removes the local account, your device-local name and picture, and your records from your private iCloud database.

That tool cannot delete data already held by our partners. To ask for your RevenueCat purchase records to be deleted, contact us through eldrenlabs.com/support. For data Google holds about ads, use Google's own controls at https://myadcenter.google.com. Your purchases stay tied to your Apple Account, so Restore Purchases still works after you delete your data.

Dhikr is made for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. Ads in the app are limited to General Audiences content.

Choices in the app

• You can decline the microphone, decline location, and decline to sign in, and still use the app
• If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, Google's certified consent message appears before any ad is requested, with Consent, Do not consent, and Manage options. You can change your choice at any time in Dhikr, Settings, Privacy choices. Ads shown in Dhikr are always non-personalised, and your choice controls how Google may use storage on your device and process your data for ads
• Becoming a Supporter removes all ads, and the ad service is not started at all

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR and UK GDPR and US state laws such as the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, you may have the right to access your personal data, have it deleted or corrected, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw consent at any time (for ads, in Settings, Privacy choices). We do not sell personal information for money. Some US state laws may treat the data Google's ad software collects as "sharing" personal information; you can limit this by declining consent where the consent message is offered, or by becoming a Supporter. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.
