Privacy Policy

Nothing. Dhikr transmits no personal information to Eldren Labs, and there is no Eldren Labs server for the app to talk to. What follows is what the app does handle, and where each of those things stays.

Your voice

• When you count by voice, Dhikr listens for the dhikr you are reciting using Apple's on-device speech recognition
• Audio is processed in the moment and discarded. It is never recorded to a file, never stored, and never transmitted, not to us and not to anyone else
• The microphone is used only while a counting session is running, and only if you grant permission. Declining it leaves every part of the app usable, counted by tapping

Your location (optional)

• Used while you are using the app, to calculate prayer times and the direction of the qibla
• Both calculations run on your device from your coordinates. Your location is not sent to us or to any third party
• Declining location means prayer times and the qibla are unavailable. Nothing else changes

Your dhikr and your sessions

• Your adhkar, counts, targets, and session history are stored on your device and mirrored to your own private iCloud (Apple CloudKit), so they follow you across your devices
• This is your iCloud, not our servers. We cannot access it, and we hold no copy of your practice

Your name and photo (optional)

• Stored on your device only
• Never uploaded anywhere, not even to your own iCloud

Sign in with Apple (optional)

• Signing in is optional. Dhikr works fully without an account and you can skip it
• If you do sign in, Apple provides an identifier that the app uses locally to associate your data with you. It is not sent to any Eldren Labs server
• You may use Apple's Hide My Email at any time

Notifications (if you enable them)

• Prayer time and dhikr reminders are local notifications, scheduled on your device by the app
• Dhikr contains no push notification service and registers no device token. We have no way to send you a message

None. Dhikr sends your data to no third party, because it sends your data nowhere. Speech recognition, prayer time calculation, and the qibla bearing all run on your device using Apple's own frameworks. The only service involved is Apple's iCloud, and that is your account, not ours.

No third-party advertising. No analytics or tracking SDKs. No cross-app or cross-site tracking. No third-party processors of any kind. We never sell or share your personal data, because we do not have it. The app carries no tracking technologies.

Your data stays on your device and in your iCloud until you remove it. Deleting the app removes the on-device data. To clear everything, use Delete account and all data in the app (Settings). This removes the local account, your device-local name and picture, and your records from your private iCloud database.

Dhikr is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, children included.

You can delete your data with the in-app tool above, or by getting in touch. You can decline the microphone, decline location, and decline to sign in, and still use the app.
