Bhasha Additional Terms

Last updated: September 26, 2026

Bhasha is an app for learning Bangla, made by Eldren Holdings LLC ("Eldren Labs", "we", "us"). These Bhasha Additional Terms ("Bhasha Terms") explain what you get when you use Bhasha and what we ask of you.

The Eldren Labs Terms of Use at https://eldrenlabs.com/terms (the "General Terms") also apply to Bhasha. That includes section 19 of the General Terms (dispute resolution), which says how disputes about Bhasha are resolved and, if you live in the United States, requires individual arbitration unless you opt out. By using Bhasha you agree to these Bhasha Terms and the General Terms, subject to what section 1 says about people who used Bhasha before.

01

How these terms fit together

For matters specific to Bhasha (plans, prices, billing, trials, how we change a plan, the refunds promised here, Bhasha Plus Lifetime, safety limits and fair use, and Bhasha's content, Community and AI features), these Bhasha Terms control if they conflict with the General Terms. For everything else, the General Terms control. Where these Bhasha Terms give you more rights, you get those rights.

Your licence to use the app comes from Apple's Standard EULA. These Bhasha Terms and the General Terms supplement it and govern your relationship with us, including disputes, without changing your agreements with Apple. See General Terms section 4.

Your rights as a consumer: see General Terms section 5. Nothing in these terms takes them away.

If you used Bhasha before

The Bhasha Terms of Use of September 26, 2026 (archived at https://eldrenlabs.com/bhasha/terms/2026-09-26) continue to apply to you until you expressly accept these Bhasha Terms and the General Terms in the app, after a clear notice, by tapping "Agree and continue" on the "We've updated our Terms" screen. General Terms section 19 (dispute resolution) applies only to disputes that arise after you accept, and you can opt out of it within 30 days after you accept. If you are new to Bhasha, you can opt out within 30 days after you first agree. The Bhasha-specific promises below are the same as in that version.

02

Your account

Age and account responsibility: see General Terms section 6.

You can use much of Bhasha without an account. Some features (the Community library, Ask Bhasha chat and Ask Bhasha Voice) need Sign in with Apple.

03

The free plan

The free plan includes a set of free lessons and limited use of some features. What the free plan includes is shown in the app and may change over time.

04

Subscriptions: Bhasha Pro and Bhasha Plus

Plans

Bhasha Pro and Bhasha Plus are auto-renewable subscriptions, each billed monthly or yearly. Before you buy, the app shows what each plan includes, its price and how often you are billed.

Billing and renewal

Apple charges your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the same length and at the price then in effect, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Apple charges the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.

Cancelling

You can cancel anytime in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions (or in the App Store app, under your account, then Subscriptions). To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

Free trials

Only the yearly plans may include a free trial, currently 3 days. Apple allows one introductory offer per Apple Account across Bhasha Pro and Bhasha Plus, so the trial is only for people who have not had one before. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the yearly subscription starts and Apple charges you the yearly price.

Family Sharing

Family Sharing is not available for Bhasha Pro or Bhasha Plus.

Refunds

Apple handles all payments and refunds. Request a refund at https://reportaproblem.apple.com. If you are in the EU or UK, Apple's terms also give you a right to cancel a purchase within 14 days in some cases; see Apple's Media Services Terms. This section does not limit the refund rights described below.

Safety limits and fair use

Subscription features are for one person's own learning. To protect the service from automated or abusive use, AI features have technical safety limits that normal learning does not reach, currently 300 Ask Bhasha replies a day and 100 new generated lessons (including hand-offs) a day. Ask Bhasha Voice always has a daily and weekly allowance, shown in the app. Where the app says a feature has "no limit" or is "unlimited", these safety limits and the fair use rules in section 6 still apply.

Why we might change a plan

We may change what a plan includes, or its price, only for one of these reasons:

  • the cost of providing the plan has gone up materially, for example what our AI, voice or hosting providers charge us;
  • to stop misuse, fraud or automated use, or to keep the service stable and secure;
  • a technical reason, such as a change to Apple's systems or to the devices and software Bhasha runs on, that means a feature cannot keep working as it did;
  • a change in the law, a regulator's or court's decision, or Apple's App Store rules;
  • a provider we rely on changes or stops a service, and there is no reasonable replacement at a similar cost.

A change to what your plan includes will not cost you anything extra.

How we tell you about a change

We tell you reasonably in advance. If a change reduces what your plan includes, it applies to you only after the end of the period you have already paid for, from a renewal after we tell you, and never sooner than 7 days after we tell you. Until then your plan stays as it was. If you are in a free trial when we tell you, you keep the plan as it was through the end of your first paid period. We tell you in the app, with a full copy you can save and keep, and by email if we have your email address. A push notification is only a reminder; the full notice is in the app. The notice says what is changing, why, the date it applies to you, your rights, and how to cancel.

For a price change, we tell you no less than 7 days and no more than 30 days before the new price applies to you. Apple also tells you about a price increase. Depending on the size of the increase and where you live, Apple may ask you to agree first; if you do not agree, your subscription ends at the end of the period you have paid for.

If you do not want a change, cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date and you will not be charged again.

If you live in the EU or UK

If a change we make to what your plan includes is to your disadvantage and is more than minor, you can end your subscription free of charge within 30 days after receiving our notice or after the change takes effect, whichever is later. To do this, email support@eldrenlabs.com. We will refund the part of the price you paid for the unused time in your current period, within 14 days of you telling us. You can also ask Apple for this refund at https://reportaproblem.apple.com and we will support your request. If you have not been refunded within 14 days of telling us, we will refund you ourselves.

How we refund

Every refund we owe you under these terms is a refund of money, to the payment method you used or another one you choose, at no cost to you. We will only give credit or anything else instead if you ask for it or agree to it.

If you live in the UK

The right above is given by us under these terms. It is in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other UK consumer law.

05

Bhasha Plus Lifetime

Bhasha Plus Lifetime is a one-time purchase. It is not a subscription and does not renew.

What "lifetime" means

Lifetime means for as long as we offer Bhasha, not for your lifetime or ours. If we ever stop offering Bhasha, we will give at least 90 days' notice in the app and by email if we have your address. If we stop offering Bhasha within 3 years of your purchase date, we will refund you in money a share of the price you paid, in proportion to the time left in those 3 years. For example, if Bhasha stops 1 year after you bought Lifetime, we refund two thirds of the price; after 3 years the refund is zero.

What it includes

  • 1. Every feature that is part of Bhasha Plus on the day you buy, at no lower allowance than Bhasha Plus had on that day. Today that means no set limit on practice energy, Ask Bhasha replies or hand-off lessons, subject to the safety limits in section 4 and the fair use rules in section 6.
  • 2. Every lesson and course in Bhasha, including lessons and courses we add after your purchase, for as long as Lifetime lasts.
  • 3. New features we release in the 2 years after your purchase date. A "feature" is a new tool or capability in the app; lessons and courses are covered by item 2, not this item. Features released after those 2 years may need a separate purchase or subscription. That will never remove anything you already have.
  • 4. Ask Bhasha Voice. For 2 years from your purchase date: at least 30 minutes a day and 90 minutes a week (the Plus allowance when this was written). After that, for as long as Lifetime lasts: at least 10 minutes a day and 30 minutes a week (the Pro allowance when this was written). If the Plus allowance (for the first 2 years) or the Pro allowance (after that) is ever higher, you get the higher amount.

We will not reduce what Lifetime includes below what this section promises, except where the law or Apple's rules require it, or where a provider we rely on stops a service and there is no reasonable replacement. If that happens, we will tell you as described in section 4, and if you are in the EU or UK the same 30-day right to end and be refunded applies, with the refund worked out as in section 6.

Personal and non-transferable

Lifetime belongs to the Apple Account that bought it. It cannot be sold, transferred or shared, and Family Sharing is not available for it.

Refunds

Apple handles refunds for Lifetime, the same as any App Store purchase. This does not limit the refunds described in this section and in section 6.

A subscription you already hold

Buying Lifetime does not cancel an existing Bhasha subscription. Cancel it in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before it renews, so you are not charged again.

06

Fair use, and ending a Lifetime purchase

What fair use means

Bhasha's AI and voice features are for one person's own learning. You may not:

  • share or resell your account or access to it;
  • use Bhasha in an automated or scripted way, or use bots or other tools to drive Ask Bhasha or Ask Bhasha Voice;
  • try to get around usage limits or allowances;
  • commit fraud, or abuse chargebacks or refunds. Asking for a refund or disputing a charge in good faith, or using your legal rights as a consumer, is never abuse.

Heavy use is fine

Using Bhasha a lot for your own learning, within the published allowances and safety limits, is never a breach of fair use. We will not limit or end Lifetime for it.

What we do if fair use is broken

We respond step by step, in this order:

  • 1. Notice. We write to you by email, or in the app if we do not have your email address. We explain what we saw and give you at least 14 days to stop. You can reply to explain, and we will consider what you tell us before we take the next step. We skip this step only for fraud.
  • 2. Limiting a feature. If it continues, we may temporarily limit the affected feature (for example, Voice) on that account. We tell you what we limited and for how long.
  • 3. Ending Lifetime. For a serious or repeated breach, we may end Lifetime access. We tell you why. If we end Lifetime for a reason other than fraud (including a chargeback not made in good faith), we will refund you in money a share of the price you paid, in proportion to the time left in the 3 years after your purchase date (worked out as in section 5). You can ask Apple for this refund and we will support your request; if you have not been refunded within 14 days of our decision, we will refund you ourselves.

The same steps apply to subscriptions, except that for a subscription, step 3 means ending the subscription, with a refund of the unused part of the current period if the reason is not fraud.

07

Your content and the Community

What you make stays yours

Lessons you create, hand-off recordings, notes and anything else you add to Bhasha remain yours. Your learning data syncs through your own private iCloud. We use your content only to run the features you ask for, as described in the Privacy Policy (https://eldrenlabs.com/bhasha/privacy).

Community submissions

Community submissions are text only: a phrase or lesson, its meaning and context. Recordings of your voice are never shared to Community. If you submit to the Community library, you keep ownership, and you give us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, moderate, adapt (for example, format or translate) and show your submission to other Bhasha users for as long as it is in the library. You can ask us to remove your submission at any time, and deleting your account removes it. You confirm you have the right to share what you submit.

Our content

Bhasha's lessons, audio, design and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own learning, not copy or redistribute them.

08

Acceptable use

The acceptable use rules in General Terms section 9 apply to Bhasha. In Bhasha this includes: do not record someone without their permission, and do not misuse Ask Bhasha or other AI features to create harmful content. We moderate Community submissions and may remove content or block contributors.

09

Ending your use

You can stop using Bhasha and delete your account at any time from Profile. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription; cancel that in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions.

We may suspend or end an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, following the steps in section 6 where they apply. If we end a paid plan for a reason other than fraud, section 6 explains the refund.

10

AI features

Ask Bhasha and other AI features can make mistakes. Check anything important with a fluent speaker. AI feedback on pronunciation or grammar is a learning aid, not a certification. See also General Terms section 11.

11

Disclaimers, liability, Apple, governing law and disputes

These are covered by the General Terms: disclaimers (section 15), limits on our liability (section 16, which applies to all claims about Bhasha taken together, includes the price you paid for Bhasha Plus Lifetime as a minimum, and never reduces a refund promised in sections 4, 5 and 6 of these Bhasha Terms), Apple (section 4), governing law and courts (section 18), and dispute resolution (section 19).

12

Changes to these terms

We may update these Bhasha Terms, for the reasons listed in section 4 or to make them clearer. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you the same way as in section 4: at least 7 days before it applies to you, in the app with a copy you can save, and by email if we have your address. A change, whether to these Bhasha Terms or to the General Terms, never reduces what Bhasha Plus Lifetime includes beyond what section 5 allows, and never takes away a right you have under section 4 or 5. A change to dispute resolution (General Terms section 19) follows General Terms section 17.3, which controls over this section: if you reject that change in time, it never applies to you, and the version you previously accepted continues to apply, subject to any opt-out. The date at the top shows the latest version.
